About Katrina
I am an ally to the LBGTQ community and clients who may experience discrimination in our society based on their race, sexual identity, sexual orientation, age, gender, religion, nationality, and able-bodiedness.
I especially enjoy working with adults who are motivated to heal old wounds to gain self-awareness, self-acceptance, and feel freedom from limiting past experiences and perceptions.
My passion for supporting and listening deeply developed as I counseled women choosing to terminate a pregnancy. I believe, when making highly personal decisions, we deserve to listen to our deepest needs and deserve to be supported non-judgmentally as we make choices aligned with those deepest needs.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults who have experienced: abuse, specifically sexual trauma; anxiety and depression; relational conflicts and unresolved family-of-origin issues; and low self-esteem.
